Novatec, Inc. recognizes our responsibility to protect the privacy of visitors to our web sites. This is a statement of our policy, data collection practices and our uses of that data. This Privacy Policy applies to our primary web site, www.novatec.com. Novatec, Inc. provides these web sites as a business tool for our customers, prospective customers, sales agencies and our employees. The purpose is to disseminate information about our company, our policies and our products and to provide a convenient way for users of Novatec equipment to purchase parts they may require. These are interactive sites, allowing customers to contact Novatec with orders, requests for quotations or to get answers to specific questions. Our web site does not enable our visitors to communicate with other visitors or to post information to be accessed by others.
Anyone may access most areas of our primary web site anonymously but we do request that visitors register certain personal information to request responses. We do not seek children as site visitors and do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Visitors under the age of 18 years old must not register personal information without the express permission of a parent or legal guardian.
We will request that visitors volunteer basic contact information like, Name, Title, Company, Address, Phone Number and e-mail address when a visitor submits a comment or request through the "Contact Us" page. In this case we may provide the visitors contact information to the appropriate Novatec Regional Sales Manager and to a Novatec Sales Agency in order that they might contact the visitor to provide additional assistance.
We give visitors the option of using a secure transmission method to send us primary personal data such as name and contact details. We have implemented security policies, rules and technical measures to protect the personal data that we have under our control from unauthorized access, improper use or disclosure, Unauthorized modification, unlawful destruction or accidental loss.
All our employees and data processors who have access to and are associated with the processing of personal data are obliged to respect the confidentiality of our visitors’ personal data. We ensure that personal data will not be disclosed to State institutions and authorities except if required by law or other regulation.
Novatec provides links to the web sites of several of our Sales Agencies and other industry-related web sites for convenience. We are not responsible for the privacy policy nor the content of those sites but we encourage the owners of those sites to develop a privacy policy and to respect the privacy of our visitors. We do not provide visitors’ data to any entity not disclosed herein.
You may ask us whether we are holding personal data about you by sending e-mail to novatec@novatec.com. Upon written request to Novatec, Inc., 222 E. Thomas Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21225, you may request a legible copy of the information. We may require proof of identity before complying with your request.
